Maybe weekly was a bit optimistic. I guess my life is just not quite that exciting. Oh Well! Thats okay with me. I very happy just the way I am.

I had doll club last week end and I presented the very first doll I have ever made. I was so pleased. My wonderful crafty ladies with their experience and advise, I'm not sure if I could have done it without them.

I am currently planning a week end away with a friend. We are heading to Uluru or Ayres Rock if you prefer. Being a Alice Springs born and bred girl I have been before. I have climbed it 3 times and seen the surrounding areas. Amazing country.

Claudia (my friend), has never been. We are going all out and staying at the "Sails in the Desert". I am so looking forward to getting away. It will be my first holiday without hubby that hasn't involved a family member. So it will be weird with out him. But I'm sure I'll manage :).

Well I guess I'll next catch up with news of the Rock.

I have to warn you people when it comes to being a regular on the "keeping people informed" on my life I am slack!

But on making lemonade out of lemons - I do have more news this way.

I have struggled (as some of you know) with 'technology'. I ended up getting the web site people on to getting me up and running live on the net. Yay for the experts. This took 24 hours in comparison to my 3 weeks worth of attempts. It has taken me 15 mins just to try and work out how to add a post to my blog.

I have just had a great holiday - with rellies. Love my reletives.

Hubby and I left Melbourne a day earlier than planned due to my Uncle turning 70, travelled to Mannum in South Australia for the party. Great night, caught up with old friends that had not been seen for years. Really great night!

From there we met up another aunt and uncle at Quorn just the other side of Port Augusta, to travel through the Flinders Ranges. Also another set of old family friends too. So good to reminisce.

Due to rain and muddy dirt roads we did spend time in places that we may not have spent quite as much time normally. But in saying that it was still a great trip.

From Quorn we travelled to ???, where we spent the first night. Great little caravan park. Very neat, well spaced between campers and very clean. On to Leigh Creek then into Marree. A unplanned night in Marree. Road closed due to wet. Trucks lined up waiting to use the road. Soooooo many Trucks!

My first week - great start, it has not been ... needed a new computer just so I could get this all started. Wondering where to find the time??? Its always a time thing. I also had an unfortunate accident. Pulling out from a T junction on a dark road. I plow into a car that did not have its head lights on. Looks like both cars may be a write off. Luckily no one hurt. So I figure it can only get better from here. Hubby very handy when it comes to the tech side of things. I am so very excited about this new venture in my life ...... look forward to next week.
